School History
HOPEBAY COLLEGE, Okokomaiko was established in September 26th 1994 as a result of the educational needs of parents living in FESTAC and Okokomaiko environs. This necessitated the proprietress of the school, Late High Chief Mrs. Oyin Oladapo, to open the school with about Thirty Eight Students (38) students in J.S.S 1 with about twenty (20) teachers. The school has a NAFDAC standard bore hole, a public tap and a well. The school also has a U-shaped purpose built five storey building of forty six (46) classrooms and two large halls for examinations. The Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories are on the ground floor. Also, the Art room, Intro-Tech room and staff room are on the ground floor. The first floor houses the library room, the typing pool and the sick bay. The second floor houses the music room and the computer room since the school now runs a comprehensive computer course.
