The school was founded in 1996 by Dr. (Mrs) Margaret Ibru, an experienced, well educated and widely travel led women. Miss Maggie, as she is fondly called by her pupils, took a look at the only school that in totality caught her fancy within the vicinity 'Grange Education' and said surely i can do better than this or just as well at a more affordable cost to parents. Like the biblical mustard seed that germinated and blossomed into a mighty tree so has ST T. Regency School grown from a Creche to a Nursery and primary school and currently a college.
