School History

St. Vincent Catholic Schools (formerly St. Vincent Catholic Nursery and Primary School was founded by then Parish Priest of Christ the King Catholic Church (CKC) Akowonjo, Rev. F.R. Crowley C.M. in 13th September, 1999 on a temporary open hall housing all the classes, KG, Nursery and Primary. The Pioneer headteacher was Mrs. Agnes Okoro and the initial population of Pupils were about 80 and staff were about five. Rev. Sr. Franca Opara took over from Mrs. Okoro, Mrs. Pat Obi in the year 2003 assumed leadership. The School under Rev. Fr. Longerms Odum as CKC Parish Priest built the new School building in 2007/2008.
