School History

The Ideal Day Nursery & Primary School was founded in 1977 by Alhaji I.A. Animashuan with 20 pupils in attendance, manned by 3 teachers. In the same year, the Proprietor sent a letter to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education 216 Broad Street, Lagos. The approval came in 1987, from the Ministry of Education, Alausa, Ikeja. Before it came, the Primary Six pupils were enrolled to sit for the GII Examination by a special permission granted by the Lagos State Ministry of Education.
