Our Mission Statement

Mivara: Mean Mighty in Valour, always relevant in academic, with what is written above, there is no doubt that the school really means excellence in the field of academic pursuit, open and progressive educational system whereby every student shall have an inhibited opportunity to be educated, encouraging the need for a Secondary School that is Science and Technologically based for students as a step to achieve a progressive, democratic and responsible society which MIVARA provides as well as observe that there is need to complement Government efforts in the educational section.

School History

Since the establishment of MIVARA SECONDARY SCHOOL in 1985, it has been weathering so many storms both physically and spiritually. The first set of our students that sat for WAEC exams made 95% and ever since, it has been success story all along. Mivara has always helped students excel in both academics and morals, including other activities like sports and extra curricular events. We have attended engagements with other schools in and around Lagos State, both private and Government organized.

Future Plans for the School

The School M.S.S is established on a one acre land of six standard plots. The school has plans of expansion as regards putting up of two floors of thirty-six blocks of classrooms, a well equipped science laboratory, a state of the art library with e-learning facilities. Construction of an expensive hall for extra-curricular activities such as debating and dramatic and music/art exhibition.
