School History

St. Martins School started in Nov 3rd 1968, at No 7, Simisola street Surulere as a day care by Rev. Mother Martha Onwuachi (EHJ). The aim then was primarily to help working parents who could not get house help. After a few years, around 1973/74, the school expanded to include the nursery section. Then it was annex to St Catherine Model School Surulere. The school operated as day/nursery school till Sept 1991 when it extended to include the primary section. The school got its provisional approval in 22/6/98.
