School History

The Torch of Knowledge was established in 1992 and was commissioned by the then ornament of responsible private education in Nigeria, Late Dr Tai Solarin who was also a social critic of national fame. The school publishes a magazine called 'FOOTLIGHTS PUBLICATION' The school has a football team called TORCH FLAMBEAUS. Since the school is committed to providing education with a backbone, it does not appeal to individuals who could not distinguish between schools that enable learners to acquire critical education needed to meet the challenges of an ever changing world and the catchpenny schools that have no determination to rescue children from their natural ignorance.
