School History

Briggs Gate Comprehensive college is a co-educational school that operate day studies system. It was establish in Sept, 2004 with Junior secondary school (JSS 1) and (JSS 2). From inception, it has the objective of providing a better standard of learning and ensuring student are properly groomed to met up with the desire yearnings of the stake holders. It started with 5 teachers and 4 non teaching staffs. Since the population of the student have been growing, so staff strength have to meet up with increasing student population. The school moved from original Mushin location to a more spacious one in Ilupeju which provide more classroom, space for extra curriculum activities and more facilities to make learning a lot more effective and conducive. The school was given provisional approval by the Lagos State ministry of education to operate as private secondary school effective 28th August 2006.
