School History
Omoleye Children's School was founded on Monday the 15th of January, 1968 by Chief (Mrs) Oyinlola Ade-John. The School buildings were dedicated on Sunday the 14th of January, 1968 by late Bishop C.A. Akinbola, then a curate at All Saints Anglican Church Yaba. The Inspiration to start a school came from Professor Taiwo Daramola an in-law whose children the Proprietress was giving extra lesson after school. The school started at the then, 200 (now 165) Ikorodu Road, Onipanu with three pupils, a teacher and a cleaner with only three children, it was not possible to cope with the schools outgoings, so the proprietress had to take part time afternoon teaching job. On march 26th 1968, the school was approved as a Nursery and Primary School by the then Western Region of Nigeria. It was later approved by Lagos State Ministry of Education. In 1971, after a full scale inspection, approval was giving to the school to present pupils for First School Leaving Certificate Examinations, National Common Entrance Examination and either various examinations to Secondary School.
