Our Mission Statement

Maryanne Nursery and Primary School is a friendly, family environment where children are empowered with global perspective and their individuality is respected. At Maryanne, we develop each child's talent.

School History

Maryanne Nursery began out of the needs of care for mothers and their babies. The mothers were taught literacy skills such as reading, writing and basic maths and child care. Gradually, the mothers were eased into first line semi-skill labour such as cleaners and street sweepers while their children were taken care of until mothers closed from work in evening. Thus began Maryanne day nursery on 9th of January, 1989 with 9 pupils.
