Our Mission Statement

To lay the foundation of cradle to old age educational experience, that must make the child to be mentally, morally and physical fit into the local, national and international society. By overcoming every economic, social, political, spiritual and educational limitations through great confidence, respect and motivation in making positive contribution to the world around to all eternity and to the glory of God.

School History

The proprietor started out as a farmer with B. Agric (Econs) 1986 NIFE now OAU, but salvation of the Lord and circumstances created by God turned him into a Nursery & Primary School teacher. God later created an opportunity through an accommodation space to start a school of his own, a vision was kindled, which was fanned and encouraged by a friend in the Lord. Through much prayer, faith in God and diligent planning together, SUMMERLAND N/P SCHOOL started in 20th September, 1999, founded on Christ with a motto of Rock of Ages. We had about 7 children at inception and 4 staffs by the end of 1st term we had 39 children, 4 teaching staff and 4 non teaching staff. The school rapidly grew from about 67 children by the end of 2nd term to about 92 children by the end of the 3rd term of the year, so the story began.
