School History

Sola Day Nursery and Primary School was founded in 1985 under the leadership of a visionary leader Mrs. Sola Ogun, who had just retired then as a principal of C.M.S. Primary School. The school was given a brighten colour when it got its approval from the Lagos State Government in 1997. The motto of the schools is "Show the light" this motto was fueled to realization by the hardworking teachers who tried their best. The school had facilities for children of primary ages from creche to kindergarten, to nursery and the primary school levels, this gets better day by day. Sola Day was just known for excellent academic performances alone, but we also interacted with the society by visiting various educational bodies based on our excursions. We have visited places like - the National Museum, National Art Theatre, Airport, Botanical and Zoological garden, Art Galleria among several others. Pupils from the school have attended different quiz competitions, debates, common entrance examinations and in sporting activities and they have performed brilliantly well. We have a landmark of success set already and we are still strong and visionary in the pursuit of the goals of the school.
