Our Mission Statement

Inculcating and impacting effective reading and writing attitude with sound speaking ability for self discovery and development through the three aspects of learning. Education for every child in the community is a must. Meaningful teaching must be upheld.

School History

Local Authority Primary School was founded on the 17th of Jan. 1955. by the western Government of Nigeria they known as native Authority Primary School, Iyafin. The school took off with 65 pupils and the first tracher and headteacher were Miss F.G. Gbededo and Mr. M.O. Diya (RTD) respectively. The school had two classrooms and a store at its inception, later two more classrooms were added in 1976, Six functional classrooms were added and during Jakande Adminitration in 1983, amother 6classrooms were added. The school was awarded best school in 1997 during the annual merit award. In 1995/96 Miss Paul Senami was one of the best pupils in Lagos state. As at today, Mr. M.M. Hungbo is the incumbent headteacher of the school with nine teaching staff and 18 non-teaching staff.
