School History
L.A.P.S. K/West was established in 1953. The first small house was commissioned by a school pupil named Ami Amegbor under the directive of the D.O. (white man) before the villagers and was named as in the above. The first appointed headteacher was Mr. Agosu and was paid by the D.O. while the first headteacher was Mr. Sejiro from Ikoga. Presently we have a block of six classrooms. Pupils enjoy free text books from the L/S government. Both the teachings and non-teaching staff work co-cooperatively Mrs. C.I.
