School History

Distinct Medal College was registered with the Lagos State Government on 18th October, 1993, But was officially opened on 3rd January, 1994. It was formally approved by the government as a full fledged secondary school in July, 1995. We were admitted by the Examination board and given recognition approval in November, 1995 to present our students as Internal candidates for the Junior School Certificate Examinations. In March 1996 we were admitted by West African Examination Council and given recognition approval by the ministry of education to present our students as internal candidates for the senior school certificate examination. We operate both boarding and day systems. We are mostly proud of our achievements both at the J.S.C.E and S.S.C.E level where our students passed their papers with distinctions and credits. We are able to achieve this by the dedication of our staff and our policy of low student-teacher ratio.
