Our Mission Statement
To improve the standard of education in the country and in Badagry. To develop our pupils the necessary qualities of independent, initiative and to equip them with the knowledge required to make active and positive contribution in the socio economic and political life of the local, state and the country as a whole. To unite all people in the community no matter their tribes, sex, social or cultural status. To fight against illiteracy that hinder the educational growth and development.
  
School History
St. Thomas primary school was founded by Rev. Golmer of the church missionary sociey (CMS) in 1845. The school has its first site where the first story building now stand. Mr. Philips was the first teacher and headmaster from 1845 to 1867. The school started with eight pupils. The school population grew and there is need for more accommodation, the manager Mr J.J. Leigh moved the school to its present address.
