School History
"The school was founded in the year 1936 by the Anglican Mission in Nigeria. It was first located at Omojoda in the old Anglican church there due to the location and centrality of the school. It was named Okemagba United Primary School, Okemagba. In 1944, the base of the school was shifted from Omojoda to Igbooye in a small church building in the village near Ageju's house. When the school population was increase, a permanent site was sought. Where the school is situated today was given by members of Anglican Church. The official opening of the school took place on Tuesday 11th April, 1944 by Rev. Carion S.O Odutola under the proprietorship of the Anglican Bishop of Lagos. The school was managed by Rev. J.A Sokefun. It was then named Igbooye United Primary School. After some years, the members of the St Paul's Anglican Church Igbooye named it in the name of their church i.e. ST. PAUL'S ANGLICAN PRIMARY SCHOOL IGBOOYE. "
