School History

Helen Queensley College (HQC), a comprehensive educational institution located in the Badagry area of Lagos State, was founded on the 1st of september, 2010 in memory of Mrs. Helen Aderonke Kubeyinje, co-founder of Queensley Private School, (QPS), who passed on to glory on 24th August,2009 at the age of 47. HQC opened its doors to its just sets of students, thirteen graduate teachers and six non-academic staff members, all accomodated in a purpose built bungalow, made up of six classrooms, a staff room and the offices of the principal and Education Director. The school in its youth academic year currently has a student population of 300 and a staff strength of twenty-three (23) with a five -man Board of Governors.
