School History

Catholic Children Center now St Philip Catholic np School was established by SS.Peter and Paul Catholic Church Shomolu, through the promptings of the then parish priest Monsignor P.A. Oteyin and the ladies Guild of the Church The first set of fifteen pupils were enrolled on the 6th June ,1994 with two teachers and with the appointment of the 1st headteacher on 1st September, 1994 Hence, the school was established strictly in line with the missionary principles of the Roman Catholics Church
