School History

Lightbeares College was founded in the year 2005. It is a co-educational institution. The name of Proprietor and Proprietress are Deacon Egbeameade Festus and Mrs. Egbemeade Racheal, while the Principal is Mr. Ajoh Kolawole O. The school was approved by Lagos State Ministry of Education in the year 2009, accreditation by West African Examination Council in the year 2010 and National Examination Council in the year 2011. The school popuplation has increased from five students in the year 2005 to 266 in the year 2011 numerical strenght of staff five to twenty seven. The school participated in different external competition such as Quiz and Debate, Dance and Football Matches where the school excel several educational trips were also experienced. The school is equipped with both phyical and infrastructural facilities with well experieced and qualified teachers. National curriculum and unified scheme of work are also in places.
