School History

Anchor Mirrors College was founded on the 15th September, 1997. The school took off with ten foundation students in the following order,one in Junior Secondary school and nine in senior secondary school. The founders were Mr. Stephen Olusola Olukayode Sosami and his lovely wife ,Mrs.Florence Bisola Omowunmi Sosami with specialization in Integrated Science,Mathematics,and Social Studies.Having jointly founded the school and successfully produced several sets of primary leavers for both the public and private secondary schools around ,was professionally motivated to create an avenue whereby there would be continuity in the qualitative education already popularly established at their Nursery and Primary school .It therefore become a challenge that to the couple that an offspring of Anchor Mirrors should be made to exist-Anchor Mirror College These were the foundation staff members:Mr.S.O.O Sosami ,Mrs. F.I Oduwole, Mrs. I Falode, Mr.S.O. Ogunkoya,Mrs.C.O.Adekoya,Mrs.G.O.Ademoye, Mrs.Majekodunmi,Mrs.F.B.Sosami,Mr.Busoye The school motto is ' Tomorrow Today' which means that the future must be considered today.
