The school was founded in 1962. The then Minister of Education of western region honourable D.K. Olumofin played a vital role in the establishment of the school on 5th March ,1962 The school was later splitted into senior and junior segments in January ,2003. the first principal was Mr. P.O. Cardoso as the only staff and principal with 32 students at Ojo sec.modern school .The school recently celebrated her 50yrs anniversary at country club ,Ikeja
