School History
"Epe Girls’ Junior High School was carved out of Epe Girls’ High School on 6th January 2003; in conformity with the dictates of the UBE (Universal Basic Education) Programme, through which the Lagos State Government ordered that all Public Secondary Schools should be separated into two thus: the Junior and Senior Secondary Schools. (1)EPE GIRLS’ JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL. (2)EPE GIRLS’ SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL. Therefore, Epe Girls’ Junior High School took off on its own on 6th January, 2003 with Mrs. M.T. Alausa as the First Principal of the Junior High School till 30th November, 2008. Mrs. F.O. Olasimbo took over the leadership from Mrs. M.T. Alausa as the Second Principal of the Junior School till 4th January, 2011. The out-going Principal - Mrs. M.A. Peter-koyi took over the mantle of leadership as the THIRD Principal until 3rd February, 2014 when she was deployed to Epe Girls’ Senior High School. Mrs. Oduwole, Y.S. took the baton from Mrs. Peter-koyi M.A. till September 2015 and handed over to Mrs. Jonah B.O. who served with wonderful staff until 3rd September 2022 upon statutory retirement as the fifth Principal. Mrs. Yusuff M.C. took over the leadership of the school from Mrs. Jonah B.O on 3rd September, 2022 as the 6th Principal of the school while the 7th Principal of the school (Mrs. Itiolu Basirat Adenike) took over from YUSUFF MOJISOLA CHRISTIANA (MRS.) on 6th January 2025 until 6th February 2026 as a result of redeployment to NAZARETH SENIOR COLLEGE, IBONWO, EPE as a PRINCIPAL. The 8th Principal ( Mrs Oludipe Odubolanle Oluremi) who is the current principal took over from Itiolu on 6th February 2026 till date."
