School History

The school called 'Barek Memorial High School' was born out of the dream and vision of the founding father Mr. Anthony Adams Barek in September, 2001. It came into full operation in September, 2002. Having seen education as the bedrock to national development yet a system that is saddled with numerous problems, he set out to make his personal contribution toward, this national call. A firm believer in qualitative education, he built a two story block of modern design to accommodate the school.
