School History
The school was founded in 1981 with 200 students. The first Principal- Mr O.S Anifowose was posted in on 3rd November, 1981.Some class two students were deshifted from Mafoluku Grammar School to join the school in April, 1982. On 31st December 1987,three new prototype blocks of classrooms were formally decleared open by the military Gorvernor Navy Captain Mike Akhigbe. On 23rd June 1989,Mrs.A. Caston-Martins replaced Mr Anifowose as the principal of the school.She was Principal of the school until August 1998. In 1994,25th November the official commissioning of the school library took place.The Library was built by the P.T.A as their contribution to the growth of the school. The school excels in Sporting and Co-curricular outings and in February 1996, the under -15 Football Team won the principal's Cup,donated by Bashorun Fatai Arobieke. Mrs C.E Sangoranti served as the school principal from 1998 to 31st August 2000.While Mrs A.A. Olatunji took over on 1st September 2000.The 20th Anniversary of the school took place in January 2002. In January 2003,the school was officially split into Junior and Senior schools.Mrs Olatunji headed the school now known as Oshodi SeniorHigh School until her statutory retirement on 7th November 2006 when Mrs Adeniyi R.A. took over the headship. The school community contributed positively to the great achievements of the school during the tenure of Mrs Adeniyi R.A. The school also also represented Education District VI in various competitions with certificates and award recieved. On January 2009 the Principal Mrs R.A.Adeniyi bagged the enviable award as the Best Principal in Oshodi/Isolo zone for the year 2008 District merit award.She retired statutorily on 31st July 2009.
