School History
Alaba primary school 1 was formerly called local Authority Primary School 11, Amukoko It was relocated from Bakare Faro street to Alaba School complex, Alaba-Oro. Here it was divided into three different schools. Alaba Pry school 1, Alaba Pry School 11, Olaniyony Pry school, Alaba took off as an independent school on 29th Feb 1980 with the following population, 2265pupils, 40 teaching staff and 4 non teaching staff. On 21st Oct.1991 Alaba pry school 1 was divided into two. The school maintained its permanent site at Alaba schools complex Alaba-Oro until Aug. 2009 when it was demolished for the construction of the internationa route and re-located to Jimoh Ojora Pry school, The present teaching staff is 11, non teaching staff 7 and 235 pupils. Mrs. Achonye R.O. is the current headteacher
