School History
St Francis junior Grammar school, Iwaya mainland came into existence on 12th October 2001, in compliance with Lagos state government education policy concerning the separation of basic education from secondary. Mrs A.B. Akintade acted as the principal until Feb. 21th 2002 when Mrs Fowowe was deployed as principal on her redeployment, Mrs E.O. Osinake became the principal on 23rd December, 2002 and retired on 9th June , 2006. Mrs M.O. Ojosu-2006-30th July 2009 Mrs Adeleye acted 2009-2010 Mrs sodipe 8/2/2010-21/2/2011 Mr J.A Balogun 4/4/11-15/1/13 Acting Principal Mrs.Ilen Otuma 15/01/13 till date

Famous Past Pupils/Students

Master Vincent Williams represented Lagos state in swimming at the national sprint in Kaduna in Feb 2009. Master Ejime Sunday 1st in 2008 JSCE with seven distinction, three credits and two passes.

To be a standard model junior secondary school and for the students to be a role model for other students to emulate. Beautification and provision for enough class rooms and staff rooms.
