School History
The school started at Okun Mopo Akinlade in the year 1953 January through the communal effort of the people. The first school with two classrooms was built of Bamboo poles. The first school was named Native Authority School ,Okun Mopo.The school was situated near the village. The first proprietor and the headteacher was Mr. M.A. Esunrobogujo with two teachers Messers Kolawole Abajo and Rashidi Sulaimon both are from Okun Owa in Ogun State. Their salaries were been paid by the community. Some of the children of neighbouring village attended the school, Later the school was changed to Akinlade.
