School History

The school was founded on Monday 17th September, 2006 with a great great and grand objective to establish an institution for the training and nurturing of future leaders in excellence. The founding was conceived in 2003 when the proprietor Chief E.G.M. AKamobi) saw the excellent performance of the pupils of Meritha Private School during her first graduation. He reasoned that if the graduating pupils were not taken care of, they might secure admission into inferior schools and thereby lose all the knowledge acquired in the primary School. The objective therefore was to establish a school that will continue and excel the good work started in the primary school The vision was unfold on 17th September, 2006 at Meritha Private School with twenty eight students who formed only one arm of JSS1. The school later progressed to other classes and when Meritha Private School could no longer accommodate ,then it had to relocate to the permanent site of Meritha High School, which is where the school is today
