School History

Satson School was founded on 22nd October by Late Mr. Jonas Kwame Bamfo-Amoa. This project which started at Davies Street, Ketu, Ajelogo Market Area in 1985 by the founder (while teaching at Mate Nur/Pry Sch) later blossom into full fledged outfit which was very popular in its area of operation. The school actually took off with four pupils and two teachers. At the moment, Satson School can boast of thirty-three teachers, twelve non-teaching staff and hundreds of pupils. The School has become one of the best schools in Ketu with tested teachers and for that matter the population duly increases day in day out. The founder also became very popular among his fellow school owners and eventually became the secretary of the Kosofe Chapter of the Association of Proprietors of Private School. Unfortunately, the beloved founder, Late Mr Amoa, passed away on 8th of January 2003 after a brief illness and his widow, Mrs Bisi Amoa, took over the mantle he left behind. Actually, the All Merciful God has given her the fortitude to make giant strides in her late husband's shoes: Under her administration, the school has recorded quite a good number of achievements.
