School History

Father Sadiku Memorial Pry School, is the former St. Mary Roman Catholic School, Ajegunle, It was founded 1st of January 1954. It is a product of free pry education program in the then Western Region of Nigeria. The school started in a house at No.1 Babani Street Ajegunle by Mr. A.A. Adewuyi with only two teachers. In 1995, the school was moved to its present site under the headship of Mr. A.A. Adewuyi. Several headteachers worked in the school. Rev. Father Sadiku headed the school for only two months, The population later became great and the school was running two shifts - i,e, morning and afternoon shift. In 1983 the name was changed to Father Sadiku memorial pry School in honor of the founder of the of St. Marys Catholic Church Mission at Ajegunle. Mrs. Onigbinde A.O. became the headteacher of the school in 2007 1st August to date .There are two assistant headteachers at present Mr. Omoboye G.O. and Mrs. Akaedu A.N.
