School History

Somolu Senior High School is situated in Somolu Local Development Council sharing in a large mass of land with Angus Memorial Senior High Schoo, Igbogbi Junior High School and Morocco Junior High School at Morocco Road. Somolu. The school emerged from Angus Memorial Senor High School as Angus II Memorial Senior High School on 17th September 2007 with Mrs C.O Aladegbami as the acting Principal. On 17th October 2007, Mr. E. Atansuyi assumed office as the pioneer Principal with 318 number of students,11 teaching staff and 2 non - teaching staffstaff. Mrs.C.O Aladegbami was the V.P Admin while Mr. N.A Badmus was the V.P Academics. Mr. Ayo Fatoki resume office on the 12th December 2012 and was transferred on 31st November,2015. Presently, the principal of the school is Mrs. D.O Adebusoye, the V.P admin is Mr. Akinrinmade Alex, while Mr. Akinlude A.O and Mrs. Odewunmi are serving in the capacity of the V.P Academics.

Future Plans for the School

To achieve a better performance at weac 2016, by moving from the present state to 60% through hardwork using past questions, using chief examiners report , use of waec, neco syllabus, completion of scheme of , using of prep time for revision, all round discipline and impacting morals in students
