The school was established by Alhaji Tijani, M.T. on 16th September, 2002 in Mile 12 after realizing the likely impact this would have in the community, providing qualitative education well integrated with islamic knowledge and understanding to the youth. the citadel of learning commenced operation with 5 staff members and 11 students. Over time, the school has improved and progressed in terms of standardizationand service rendered.
