Our Mission Statement

An inclusive school where every child can learn individually no matter their learning disabilities. Our research in Maratop made it clear that poor learning foundation is the cause of low educational standard in Nigeria.We at Maratop make sure every pupil learn individually at their pace in order for them to be independent learners after primary school. Pupils do not learn to pass exams only but also to inculcate everything learnt into their day to day activities.

School History

Maratop nursery and primary school was founded by Mrs Moninuola Lawal few months after she finished her Grade II classes on Monday 15th September 2008. She started with just two pupils in the nursery class.Mrs Moninuola made it a daily fee of #30.Her reason being she wanted every child, poor or average financially, to be educated. She knew some of reasons these children are on the street are because of the fees and long distance where no fee is made. This became an opportunity to the community so the number of pupils increased in multiples. she left her initial site to rent a spacious one and she employed three of her Grade II colleagues. Maratop remain a nursery school for another three year until the PTA committee insisted they want a continuous low cost quality education beyond nursery school. Maratop was relocated again in order to suit the new development.
