School History

The school started as a Day Care and Creche at 42, Shotinoye Street , Papa Ajao with just a child called Peace Aremu in July,1999. With no qualification in education but with counsel and guidance from professional in the field,participated in seminar and employed the services of qualified teachers and professionals, she was able to have a school like home which gave birth to Oakville Home School. The school started with 2 nannies(Day Care), 4 teachers handled the Nursery classes , a helper in an air conditioned and equipped classrooms with educational learning resources/toys. The Day Care took off with 7 babies and one pupil The school bounces with a slogan ' Giant stride in the millenium ' and the summer school of that year tagged 'The Chosen Ones Summer School''. which eventually became Oakville Children School during search. The school has been creating niche for herself in the seemingly competitive area and is growing with time even at low expense in publicity .
