School History
Turning Point College was established on 13th September, 2004 with a passion for educating the children. It started with a modest enrolment of 13 students, a principal of four full-time teachers. The college (a co-educational post-primary institution) was established with the aims of preparing children/youths for the challenges of their future roles and for them to be useful to themselves, their families and the world in general. These aims are further expanded as reflected in the Vision Statement ''To be a centre of academic excellence with adequately qualified and motivated staff, engaged in high quality teaching for the production of students that can compete with their peers anywhere in the world''. The motto of the college is 'KNOWLEDGE AND FREEDOM Structurally, the college operates at two levels namely: Junior and Senior Secondary with a curriculum that covers Science, Social Science, Arts and Vocational Subjects as well as various co-curricular activities.
