School History

Ayangbure Pry Sch, Ikorodu of 23 Allison str. was founded in Aug. 1079. It was known as Methodist "B" Pry Sch, Which was of Sch. of Methodist Pry Sch. Ikorodu. The name Ayangbure Pry Sch.officially came into existence on 1st sept. 1983 after resolution takenout of series of meeting held by the sch.PTA this name has linage with the tittle of the Oba of Ikorodu as Ayangbure of Ikorodu. The School was with population of164 pupils and Mr.S.A. Akinsanya is its furst headteacher and total number of staff was 23 including the headteacher, they were profesionalytrained and certified. Presently the School has three buildings one of them is a functional block while the other two are prototype blocks which one was commision by Areh Olukayode Allison the then Lagos state commisioner of work and transport 12th April 1991 and the current one was commisioned by Hon. S.A Anipole the Chairman of Ikorodu centralDev. Area council on the 15th of Dec. 2009. the School has won many merit award and present headteacher is Rev (Mrs.) Odubona C.O with 36 teaching and Non teaching staffs and 1022 pupils till date.
