School History
"Girls' Junior Academy, Lagos Island 1, Simpson Street, Lagos State. The division of school into Junior and senior in September 2002 led to the establishment of the school on 6th January to 2003 with the pioneer principal being Mrs. G. O Olaseinde and twenty two (22) teaching staff. Since establishment six other principals have steered the affairs of the school before me. Currently the staff strength is just twelve (12). The school always participate in different competitions like Spelling Bee and other activities alongside teaching and learning to promote academic development. The school is also committed to raising well rounded and morally upright students for a brighter Nigeria. The school emerged 2nd best in Education District 111 2021 and the principal Mrs Bello, Afolake Abiodun emerged best principal junior category. Merits Award aw The school is currently managing in the Boys' Junior and Senior complex. The school prototype building has been under construction since February 2020 and the construction is still ongoing. This is a major hindrance to effective teaching and learning."

"In the coming years, the school will enhance its curriculum to continuously promote critical thinking and creativity, implement a character education program, establish mentorship opportunities with female role models, and engage students in community service projects.
