School History

Al-Aliyy Schools was established on Monday 18th September, 2006 at 5A, Baale Compound Gbinrinmi, Lagos. The school was officially opened with four (4) teaching staff and one (1) non-teaching staff. The numbers of pupils that were admitted on Monday, 18th September, 2006 were twenty-four (24) pupils. The school bought land as school site at 1, Olanipekun close (Now Al-Aliyy close) off Labake Akande Street, Gbinrinmi as the permanent site. Presently, the school has twenty-six (26) staff both teaching and non-teaching with about one hundred and thirteen (113) pupils in the school. By September 2007, the school moved from the former site to the new purpose â€“ built site which is bigger and more spacious. More pupils were admitted and more additional staff were employed to cater for the growing population.
