School History

St. Mary (RCM) Primary School was founded in 1st January 1954, It is a product of free primary education Program in the then Western Region of Nigeria. It was a missionary School. The School was started in a house at No 1 Babani Street Ajegunle near Ago-Hausa by Mr. A.A. Adewuyi as the headteacher and two other teachers. In january 1955 the location was changed to 16a Abukuru Street which is the present site manned by the same headteacher. As the school was growing rapidly by population the number of staffs are increasing two sessions was introduced and later upgraded to two schools. Presently , the school is headed by Mrs. Oyekan Muftiat Folashade.
