Our Mission Statement

To provide basic and sound educational foundation for children of all classes in their pre- and primary school ages and to prepare them for entry into good post primary schools. To inculcate high moral, ideals, unity, love and confidence among the children in their early ages for good citizenship of our beloved country, Nigeria in particular and of the world in general.

School History

Debo Nursery/Pry School was established on 6th September, 1985 by Mrs J.A. Adu, a seasoned trained teacher and lover of children. The school started at 1, Fabiyi Lane, Lonlo Bus stop, Iju road with eleven children. The school received many visits from the inspectors from the Ministry of Education, Alausa prior to the approval of the school on 30th December, 1991. The school turned out her first pry six pupils in 1993 and the pupils were posted to Iju Grammar School for their post primary school education. The school had problem of accommodation at the tempoary site at Fabiyi Lane and had to relocate to Herculus Busstop, Oke Aro Road, Ogun State for about 9 years before finally relocated to her present permanent site at 8, Kehinde Shogunro Street, Off Balogun Street, Iju Ishaga. The relocation to Ogun State affected the school negatively as many pupils were lost to other schools because of distance. The school is now progressing and full of hope for a bright and successful future. To God be the glory.

Future Plans for the School

The school plans to improve on the imfrasture, and expand the school buildings to provide enough spce for the library, laboratory and computer rooms. To start the secondary arm of the school very soon. To continue to employ the best teachers and staff and to make our school to be one of the best top schools in Ifako/Ijaiye Local Government Area and in Lagos State and in Nigeria in general.
