Our Mission Statement

To God be the Glory. The vision to start a mission private school by first Baptist Church, Ikeja, came as a way to fulfill the mandate of our Lord Jesus Christ in the valedictory speech to Jesus, before he finally left for heaven in Mathew 28:20, He said Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever. This we cannot claim to have done well without the establishment of s school like this within our community. Therefore, we give God the glory for how far he has led us.

School History

Prevailers Academy, formally known as First Baptist Church Nursery/Primary School, Ikeja was established in 1995, in a well centralized location in the heart of Ikeja in a clean and safe environment with christian values and Godly instructions. It also operate a Day Care Sections especially to keep our staff children busy, mature and well trained teachers handled the school work/activities such as regular excursion/sports activities, library/swimming, extra curricular, comprehensive music, phonics, french and computer education. We also observe open day every term and Lagos State School calender. The school is owned by First Baptist Church, Ikeja, Lagos & Oversees by Rev.Dr. Kayode Opadeji.
