School History
Following the restructuring of public schools in Lagos State ,the Lagos State government approved that Okota Secondary School should split into a junior and senior secondary school .thus Okota Junior Secondary school ,Okota was founded on 6th January ,2003.The pioneer Principal Mrs. A.O. Atoyebi , started the new school with 22 teachers and 1 non teaching staff at its inception.Mrs. F.F. Taye the second Principal of the school also retired on August 1 2012 . The current Principal is Mrs. A.O.Ehuwa ,she also leads a team of 23 teachers and 3 non teaching staff .The school has a population of 578 students in the current school year 2012/2013
