School History

The school is a co educational school, situated in Aga Community of Ikorodu of Lagos State. The school was founded in 1982 during Governor Alh. Lateef Kayode Jankande with 3 blocks of functional classrooms. The name Yewa was derived from a popular river along Aga Quarter in Ikorodu and serve diverse needs of the people within the community, hence the institution develop near it to avil the community people and their wards the opportunity of qualitative education. The first first students commenced lectures on the 1st of September, 1982 with a population of about 250 in form 1 and 2 and they sat for west africa school certificate examination in May/June 2003.
