School History

The school was established by the Zumratul Islamiyyah Mission on 28th March, 1960 at Yaba .The Pioneer Principal was Mr. M.O.Chuakwu By January 1961 the student population has risen to eighty three while the teaching staff was six including the principal By the mid seveties because of students population and lack of space the school moved to Igbogbo in Ikorodu Division along Bayewu Road the school has been taking part in various competitions both at local state and national levels and have been winning laurels The school was splited in 2002 into Junior and Senior Grammar Schools .The present Principal of the Zumratul Islamiyyah Senior Grammar School is Mr. O.H.Lawal
