The school was established formally on the 1st of August ,1980 with a student population of 425 and 13 teachers . On the 6th of January, 2003 ,the school was divided into Senior and Junior Schools The school is noted for its highly successful Co curricular activities which regularly include such stimulating programmes as JETS Week ,Literary and Debating Week and Christmas Carol,
