The school was founded in January, 2003 .It was carved out from Gbaja Girls High School ,Surulere. As the name depicts ,it is a single sex (Girls only)an a day school The pioneer Principal was Mrs. E.O. Adigun(2003-2006),The current Principal is Mrs. A.O. Adebayo The staff strength is seveteen(17) and the students population is Six hundred and twenty two (622)
