The school is located in Africa's largest secondary school complex of Tolu , Olodi Apapa .Jakande Administration established the school in 1981 when it was named Tin Can Island High School Eight Principals,have headed the school ,the first in acting capacity was Mrs. Oki and the current Principal is Mr. Oduola M.B. The school progressively improves in WASSCE and takes part in many competitions academic and games
